What it does

Checkout by aircraft type

Systems, limitations, emergency procedures and the flight checkout — 25 tasks, each with the standard written out, per type in your fleet.

Preventative maintenance

Part 43 scope, oil changes and filter cutting, visual AD inspections, and the enhanced walkaround that finds cracks before an inspection does.

Survey line flying

Ground work on the guidance display, practice on the trainer, then line entry, cross-track tolerance, turns and reflights in the aircraft.

Grade, debrief, acknowledge

Pass, needs improvement, or unsatisfactory — with the instructor’s comments attached. The student signs to say they read them. Re-grades keep the earlier attempt.
